Battle of Qadesh, Abu Simbel, Egypt
The carving proclaims how Rameses, the great, single-handedly destroyed Qadesh - a blatant lie exposed by the existence of treaties signed between the kingdoms. Rameses had almost lost his life in the battle. This is one of the earliest examples of "political propaganda" in history. The depiction of multiple forearms and the multiple bows is a crude attempt at ancient animation.
