Burning Bush, Sinai, Egypt
The monastery of Saint Katherine in Sinai, Egypt was built on a Greek Orthodox foundation in 337 BC by empress Helena. It was built on the site where tradition says that God appeared to Moses in the form of a Burning Bush (Exodus 3:1-20). The bush itself was planted here by the emperor to symbolise the original. Hence this may not be the exact same bush that Moses might have seen.
