Cliff Palace, Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado, USA

Seen here is the Cliff Palace ruins as seen from the main lookout point in Mesa Verde National Park. The Cliff Palace is the best preserved cliff dwellings in the park. These were built in 13th century by Anasazi Indians and mysteriously abandoned a few decades later.
