This trip was about as long as the last year's MP trip. This trip was planned along the same lines as the MP trip. It was 17 days long. This time Manoj's father also joined us for the trip. So the group was Pranav, his parents and his paternal grandparents.
Boarded the 3pm Pune-Jaipur train to Jaipur. This train has only AC II tier. But that was sufficient as our group was large enough. Pranav slept reasonably well that night.
Reached Jaipur close to 2:00 pm and checked into the hotel and rested for rest of the day.
Aparna and Manoj took a day trip to Ajmer/Pushkar while Pranav stayed back with his grand-parents in Jaipur. Pranav seemed a bit mad when we returned to the hotel in the evening. Looks like he is starting to miss his parents.
Started at 9:00 am towards Nawalgarh and reached there for lunch. An easy drive. We did give half an Avomine to Pranav today. Pranav joined everyone for Haveli visit this afternoon.
Started at 8:30 am after breakfast towards Dunlod. Saw a couple of havelis there and Pranav really enjoyed the outing. After an hour of driving, we reached Mandawa. Pranav joined us for afternoon tour of Mandawa on foot as well.
Today was driving and town hopping in Shekhawati. We were driving for an hour and stopping for an hour. Pranav was quie happy throughout and co-operated very well. We reached Fatehpur around 2:00 pm. We did not want to trouble Pranav anymore and took turns to visit Fatehpur.
Three hour easy drive brought us to Bikaner by noon. Pranav rested all afternoon while Manoj and Aparna went to see the town.
Manoj and his parents went and saw Bikaner sights in the morning. In the afternoon, everyone went to the Camel Research Centre. It could be the Camel milk ice-cream that Pranav ate there which caused Pranav to throw up a couple of times after his return to the hotel. We gave him Onandestron.
Pranav seemed to have recovered from his illness. Today was supposed to be a day long drive to Jodhpur. We started at 8:30 am and with ample stops, reached Jodhpur by 4:00 pm. We also spent an hour at the temples in Osiyan. It was a good one hour walking around the temple town and Pranav was quite happy doing it.
Today Pranav stayed with his grandparents while Manoj and Aparna went to check out Jodhpur sights. Again, we don't know why, Pranav threw up in the evening. It is likely that we gave him proper food assuming he was ok. We should have given him something light for the last two days. After a strong dose of medicine, he slept 12 hrs straight.
Pranav was with Aparna all day and rest of the group went around Jodhpur. We watched Pranav's meal all day and made sure he only ate light.
After three days, Pranav was out of his hotel room. Today, we drove all day to reach Jaisalmer. No issues.
Manoj and his parents went around Jaisalmer all morning. Manoj and Aparna went to Sam Sand Dunes in the afternoon. Pranav was at the hotel all day.
Another day at the hotel for Pranav. We boarded the evening train to Delhi. It was AC I class. So was an easy journey to Delhi.
Train was an hour late. That screwed our lunch plans a bit. Apart from that, everything went according to plan. We checked into our hotel in Delhi and rested.
Boarded the 11:00 am Duronto to Pune. Again, AC I class. So no problems whatsoever.
Reached Pune at 7:00 am.
